2D and 3D Drawing Creation
Vector objects that contain more than five points
In AutoCAD Release 2023, you can create additional objects that contain more than five points. (See Figure 2.)
In previous releases, you had to use the Create New button in the Coordinates panel to create additional objects that contain more than five points. Now, you can do this from the Options dialog box (File > Options).
Click the arrow next to the Vector button and select Use Points.

More accurate alignment of aligned and skewed objects
When you create a new line in a drawing, it may be skewed to one side. To fix this, select the line and use the Align Aligned and Align Skewed commands to fix the skew. (See Figure 3.)
In previous releases, you could only align two lines using the Align Aligned command, or you had to align skewed lines in two different ways: using the Skew tool and using the Align Skewed command.

Now, the Skew command does both actions, making it easier to align skewed lines. (See Figure 4.)
The Align Skewed command also has an option for a vertical or horizontal axis to align a skewed line. (See Figure 5.)
