Thus, we hypothesized that down-regulation of NPM1 and E2F1 in AML may suppress the expression of HLA-G1. We found that the HLA-G1-restricted peptide HLA-A2-ELPADL directly binds to NPM1 and E2F1 and induces their degradation in AML cells.
