They first used a pair of PDP-11 minicomputers to develop a concept of a tool that would automate construction drawing creation by using a punch-and-slot machine and a printing machine. The system was cumbersome and slow, but the students were able to create enough drawings to demonstrate its effectiveness.

The student product was renamed CAAD, for Computer Aided Drafting. In the early 1980s, NCSU software engineering Professor Paul Heroux contacted the students about selling their product. The product was renamed to AutoCAD, which is an acronym for Computer-Aided Drafting. The first AutoCAD version was an upgraded version of CAAD, released in 1981.
Between the release of AutoCAD and 1990, AutoCAD 1.0, the first official version of AutoCAD, was available as a 16-bit version on a DOS-based platform and a 32-bit version on an 8086-based platform.

How to use a variable from one function to another in c++
I have a project using c++ and i have a problem.
In my main function i create a picture and at this moment it appears.
But what i want is when i press a button another picture is created, but i want it to be the same picture that appears in main, so i can resize it.
But i dont know how to use it to create a picture from a variable in c++.
